30 Sep 2014 - AIT President outlines plan in alumni meeting

AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai has outlined a multipronged plan for strengthening the Institute. In a meeting with delegates from the AIT Alumni Association (Thailand) on 30 September 2014, Prof. Worsak highlighted forward-looking plans including modernization of the library, an external academic audit, and an external audit of the Institute’s financial control and governance system.

12 Sep 2014 - AIT Alumni Club of KMUTT donates 500,000 THB for AIT Library modernization

The AIT Alumni Club at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Dr. Tongchat Hongladaromp, KMUTT Board Chair, on 12 September 2014 presented a donation of 0.5 million Baht to AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai for the renovation and modernization of the AIT Library.

10 Sep 2014 - AIT library receives its biggest post-flood book donation

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) received its biggest post-flood library donation with the arrival of 800 boxes of periodicals from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).

Mr. Kewin Morya, an alumnus from Energy Technology (1998) who is currently working in Brunei, made a second financial donation to his Alma Mater on 21 March 2014.

The campaign for fund collection for rebuilding the AIT Library got off to a start with the donation of USD 3900 being handed over by the AIT Alumni Association (Myanmar chapter) to Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Interim President, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
